The owners of this North Carolina bed and breakfast, Donald and Caroline Naysmith, are Charlotte residents who have recently lived, worked, and traveled in Europe. They have a passion for reclaiming and restoring historically significant structures. Their combined experience is comprised of many years in developing properties including completion of four historic restorations, planning and production of high-end weddings and other special events, organization of international corporate events, and management of multi-million dollar domestic and international projects. The Naysmiths own and operate Cardon Development LLC, a real estate development and consulting company specializing in historic restoration.

The location and charm of the magnificently restored Alexander Homestead makes it an inviting alternative to Charlotte, NC hotel accommodations. The century-old integrity of the structure was carefully maintained during the restoration, and while the ambiance is Victorian, guests can enjoy modern amenities such as wireless Internet and cable TV.

Policies

B&B Cancellation and Early Departure: A $35.00 cancellation fee will be charged per room. Deposits are refundable when cancellations are made more than 30 days (90 days for National Holidays) prior to your arrival date. For cancellations within 30 days (90 days for National Holidays) of your arrival date you will be charged the total amount of your reserved stay. In these situations we will either reschedule your reservation for another date at no additional charge or give you a 100% voucher for a future stay.
