Take a few minutes to look at the photo gallery of this historic Charlotte inn, the N.S. Alexander Homestead, located on five beautifully wooded acres only minutes from uptown.
These magnificently restored lodging accommodations rival the luxury hotels in downtown Charlotte, NC. The four oversized guest rooms are comfortably furnished with period pieces and working fireplaces. Although Don and Caroline Naysmith, the owners, have kept the integrity and authenticity of the original Queen Anne Victorian structure built in 1903, modern amenities such as cable TV, wireless Internet, DVD library, and a game room are included.
It is often difficult to convey all aspects of a three-dimensional space, its felt history and ambiance with photography bound by two dimensions. But, one must use the means available. And so, the following gallery of photos was compiled to give the viewer a visual taste of what one would experience with a stay or special event at the Alexander Homestead. The following gallery includes three categories: (1) Photos of the interior of the historic home including all living spaces and our three guest rooms, (2) Pictures of the interior of the Honeymoon or Carriage House Suite, and (3) Shots of the exterior of the main house and carriage house as well as the grounds comprising the 5-acre estate.
Enjoy!
